Producing for VP

Stray Vista can produce on location, on practical studio builds, on green screen, or through Virtual Production. But our expertise will always be anchored in Virtual Production.

Over years of working specifically in this field, we have found that the strongest results come from production teams that already have meaningful experience on VP stages. Virtual Production adds new layers of planning, communication, technical coordination, and creative decision-making. When a production company is learning that workflow for the first time on your project, budgets can grow and prep can become unnecessarily complicated.

Not every production requires deep Virtual Production experience. Many do.

As a production company, Stray Vista can significantly reduce those inefficiencies. We have our own studio for testing and development, along with experienced directors of photography, crew members, operators, producers, and technical partners who work within our Virtual Production workflow consistently.

Just as importantly, we know when not to use Virtual Production.

Virtual Production is an incredibly powerful tool, but it is not always the right one. Our development and production teams evaluate each project creatively, technically, and financially to determine the best approach. Sometimes that means LED. Sometimes it means a practical location, a studio build, green screen, traditional VFX, or a combination of methods.

Stray Vista is ultimately a storytelling company.

Whether we are telling the story of a character, a brand, or a product, our job is to choose the right tools, use them in the right places, and execute the story at the highest level possible.
