Stray Vista Studios is a full-service virtual production company providing turnkey virtual production anywhere in the country.
Through our network of technology and stage partners, Stray Vista can deploy a custom LED volume inside nearly any suitable soundstage or connect productions with established partner stages across the United States.
We have built temporary virtual production stages for productions including The Chosen and deployed large-scale LED volumes for feature films in a matter of days.
Stray Vista doesn't simply provide the LED technology. Our team manages the entire virtual production process from start to finish, including virtual production supervision, Virtual Art Department (VAD) and Unreal Engine environment development, technical planning, stage deployment, camera tracking, on-set operation, and production support.

The VP Process
Stray Vista Studios operates a world-class in-house Virtual Production Volume in Austin, Texas, designed to make high-end LED production more accessible and cost-effective. But not every production needs the same stage, hardware, or workflow.
Our team begins by reviewing your boards, references, shot list, and script to determine where Virtual Production will genuinely improve the project and where a traditional or hybrid approach may make more sense.
PRE-PRODUCTION
Our Virtual Art Department, led by a Stray Vista VP Producer, designs and develops your Unreal Engine environments specifically for the stage and production workflow being used.
Before principal photography, we host a technical rehearsal on stage so your creative and production teams can see the environments in-camera, test critical shots, refine lighting and camera movement, and resolve technical challenges before the shoot begins.
PRODUCTION
Stray Vista stays with your production every step of the way.
Our team brings thousands of hours of hands-on Virtual Production experience to set. A Stray Vista Virtual Production Supervisor and experienced operators work directly with your director, DP, AD team, production design, lighting, camera, and other departments to keep the Virtual Production workflow moving efficiently.
Our VP Producers oversee communication, creative continuity, technical execution, and quality throughout the production.
The goal is simple: a smooth Virtual Production experience and beautiful images in-camera.
POST-PRODUCTION
Our involvement does not end when the shoot wraps.
In many cases, the best solution is a hybrid workflow combining ICVFX with traditional visual effects. Because Stray Vista is involved throughout production and retains the technical data generated on stage, our team can support the transition into post-production and help ensure the work captured on set integrates cleanly with any additional VFX required.
